Controversy 

On 25th November 2014, during a Sheffield Shield match that was held at Sydney Cricket Ground,  Sean was involved in a harrowing incident. Australian cricketer Philip Hughes was tragically struck on the neck by a bouncer by Sean. The impact occurred in an unprotected area below the helmet, thus causing a rare but fatal artery dissection. This was ultimately followed by a brain hemorrhage, and Philip collapsed on the field. He was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital and underwent emergency surgery, but passed away two days later.

Sean was with Philip until the medical help arrived, and he felt deeply disturbed and upset afterward. The cricket community was deeply shocked, and there were investigations ongoing to ensure that there was no foul play involved.
